Is this hayfever?
4 Answers
Is there a link between hayfever and certain fruit & veg? I get terrible hayfever every year. Also when I eat a tomato, it makes my lips swell and become really sore. If I peel a parsnip, my nose becomes really itchy and so do my hands. Could these all be related? Aso general hayfever advice would be appreciated. It winds me right up.

Apples, strawberry and kiwi fruit tend to do it, I get little sore lumps and a tingly feeling on the inside of my mouth. I figured it was maybe some kind of pesticide or something that irritated it or maybe more delicate bits getting iirritated, hence it only happening sometimes. They tend to calm down within a couple of hours.
