hayfever injection

anyone got hayfever this last couple of days? i thought i had escaped it, i have to have an injection normally as nothing else works, been taking tablets last week or so but starting to think they wont be enough. i have a sore throat today and yesterday and today when i had the window open i had to blow my nose a few times. im a prisoner in my own home when it gets really bad, hence injection.

Yeah i have.

Im killed with it!! Not used injection, think its hard to come by.

I recommend promethazine taken at night, makes me sleepy (stops me waking up clawing my eyes)

A nasal spray helps. I aslo usec hayband, an accupressure band worn round the elbow. Aaand a red light machine from lloyds pharmacy helped a bit too....aside from the obvious staying in and closed windows which isnt easy.

I keep benadryl to hand that works in 15mins...i sit on my hands untill it kicks in lol x

Hay fever season for me seems to start earlier and lasts longer and it also affects my asthma. I have zirtek from my GP and I put vaseline just inside nostrils. Never had injections though.

Zirtek usedto be great for me but i think i got used to it. I do the vaseline too..

I think mine must be quite mild in comparison to you. I take cetirizine every day and it seems to help. I have other allergies as well which is why I take it every day :|
