i hate people dressing dogs. There is however a cat over the road with a very natty neckerchirf instead of a collar

I don't have a huge problem with the whole bandana thing - and I did once buy my dog a wing collar and bow tie thing for a laugh (he chewed it to bit in seconds). But this isn't only humiliating, but it makes the poor dog look like a chav!!! :)
No I wouldn't buy anything like that for Frank, he'd look ridiculous in it. I put my denim jacket on him once though.

" harvey " does^nt do dressing up !
Sad to say, but there's probably a lot of dog owner going ahhhh! at the moment. NOT for me though..
Frank looks good in denim.

Buying a dog a coat or bootees where there is a need for the extra warmth is a good idea - otherwise it is a bit silly.
Dressing up wouldn't suit Max, though when my nieces daughter was about four she insisted my niece bought him a pink collar with glass "diamonds" which he wore for a few months till he grew out of it
Dressing dogs up is just not right.

Frank looks quite tough in his denim D97 :)
Paddy, when you say he 'grew out of it', do you mean it got too small or he decided it was childish? ;)
My dog has a couple of coats for walking out in the cold and the rain, and for in the house at night when the heating's gone off, and she has a rather nice, reflective bandana for walking in the dark, but that's about as far as I'll take it

If she got that little getup for Christmas then she'd probably think it was a new toy and go on to shake the crepe out it.
Can't stand 'human' clothes being morphed into animal outfits! Arrghhh! Totally chavvy!
That's better than YOUR jumpsuit K : ) x
No he was, was about 12-14 weeks old and wore it till he grew out of it at about 9 months but I must admit even I thought he looked pretty cute in it.
Question Author
Al, you've never seen my jumpsuit ;)
No but I should have.
That's just perverse!...and never mind trying to get the dog into it.

Sally wears a bandanna sometimes, and I may get her a coat-but only because she has very fine fur that's only single hair-unlike most dogs that have double haired coats(fur)
pasta - getting a nice and warm coat for Sally is logical and she will appreciate it. My last dog hated getting iced-up paws and he got little bootees.

But a little pink dress for a dog or, worse still, clothing for cats - just too much. My Merlin would look pretty in a little dress though - even if trying to fit her into it would result in my hospitalisation. She may be a girl cat - but she is NO lady.
Question Author
I've only got the one Al - I got it for my birthday.... ;) xx
Probably same colour as mine .. mine has a different cut, that's all : ) x
