Weird cats!
9 Answers
My sister moved to australia in beginning of november leaving her two cats with my parents to look after, but they are really oddly behaved.
They are brother and sister and the girl likes to eat cellotape and plastic bags with glue on them, obviously we are trying to keep everything out of her way but it seems to make her a bit high, my mother refers to her as being a glue-sniffer but she also licks net curtains.
My parents have had a cat before and these two just to weird things compared to their first cat. They never seem to settle they spend all day when not asleep paddling about even though they have toys food can go outside people to sit with or play with too!
The male cat also is odd but not as bad he likes to eat the tinsel off the christmas tree since it went up and chews on material like the curtains or your clothes.
I don't really know much about cat behaviour but it just seems weird to me compared to other cats.
Any thoughts?

Especially if it was anything made of t-shirt material. I had one particular pair of jim-jams which he'd go mad for as soon as he saw them - I didn't have to be wearing them. That's what's great about cats - they're bonkers.
One of my cats constantly licks polythene bags and net curtains - I've heard of loads of others that do it too. It's not as odd as you'd think :)
As to them being unsettled, firstly it's not that long since your sister left, they'll still be getting used to their new surroundings. Also, how old are they? Mine are 3 and 5 and they are still pretty mad, but not as bad as when they were younger. They do like a mental runabout every day.

Seriously, all cats are weird, and no two are the same. I've had one that liked to eat quavers, one that liked oranges and was partial to drinking vodka and orange juice. one that liked to suck the dogs hair, one that liked to go to the shops, and the current cat likes the rain and dances on the trampoline.
Oh wow everyones cats are a little weird then i didn't realise the cat population was so random in their behaviours! They have caused havok with the christmas tree a few times now but luckily it hasn't completely fallen.
