Goldfish

I've noticed a goldfish in a friends tank has a white centre to it's eye where it should be black, I'm not anxious to point it out to him until I can offer some advice. Can anyone help ?

Maybe it is blind in that eye, or more likely to be an infection. Be a true friend and do tell, as the fish may get a trip to the Vet or fish shop and receive treatment.
