How old is the bitch? Has she always done this? Is she overweight at all? Just wondering in case there's some medical cause for the vet to investigate.
I've a young terrier, only a year old, who snores fit to wake the dead too. The only time she doesn't, or at least only quietly, is when she's on a chair or other soft surface. On the carpet or floor, she's loud. She's perfectly healthy. That suggestion may not help, if you have to give up a chair, if that works at all!

In my experience most cavs do snore and a lot of them can rattle the windows. They have been bred to have quite short snouts and this affects the soft pallette, it also causes the snorting attacks alot of them get. It might help if she had somewhere to sleep where she could rest her head up i.e arm of chair, side of dog bed. Even then she'll still sleep how she wants to sleep and probably still snore. I think you'll just have to get some earplugs. Cavaliers are lovely dogs and I think you can forgive a bit of snoring.
