While he is still himself. He is shaking his head frequently. As if (to me) trying to shake off the tumour in his throat. I have given him his pain medication to see if that helps on top of a piece of chicken. Vet wants to see him in two weeks time. but if he deteriorates in my eyes he will there before that - nothing that the vet can do as I have decided I don't want him to suffer. No question really.

He might have a problem with his ears, Conne. It might be ear mites. Does he have floppy hang-down ears?
As Tilly says he might have a problem with his ears that could be easily sorted. Get him checked over the vet could give him something to treat it and make him more comfortable.
Please take him to the vet Conne, it could be his ears or there may have been a growth in the tumour causing him discomfort.... there's only one way to find out though.
