Is that real? Sorry to put a downer on what looks like a lovely event, but would a returning soldier really hug his cat before his wife? And would she stand by and film it instead of hugging him?

The guy had been away for a day on at training thingy. (I think that I saw the clip in the Metro website).

When I come home my cats don't even bother to come down the stairs, they only interact with me when they wake up and realise that they are hungry.

This cat is pretty vocal and obviously likes her human dad, the other cat just sits there watching the homecoming.

Ah well. I'm not sure why someone would post something like that on YouTube or whatever. Perhaps I'm getting old...
