Know I Shouldn't Be Do This
Am looking at various dog rescue sites blah blah and have seen two or three lovely animals but at the moment that's all I can do is look.
However what site can you go on to find the immediate/latest dog to be adopted. Some of the sites seem to be dated 2013 etc. Thanks

A friend of mine's dad died last year and left money to the Dog's Trust. I checked it out before donating and it seems like a good place to start, they are pretty up-to-date. Bonne chance! xx
Trying to work out whether a website is up-to-date is never easy (and can often be impossible). Your best way of checking is probably to simply pick up the phone and give them a call.
However, looking at those links I gave you the other day, the 7th Heaven (Newtonabbey) one seems to be up to date because their 'events' listings are current.
The Assisi link should also be up-to-date (for the same reason)
I can't see any date information on the Dogs Trust (Ballymena) website but, since its part of the UK-wide organisation's website, I'd expect the information to be current.
The Mid-Antrim site should also be up-to-date because clicking on the 'Contact' link shows that three cats have been added to the listings within the past 8 hours.
However, as I've said above, PHONING is almost certainly the best way to check the current situation with regard to animals waiting to be re-homed.

need money for the oul teethio - holiday is a long way for me now.
Maybe it's the way I am feeling - A friend rang tonight to see how I was - inside I was dancing (not a good dance) in case she asked if I wanted to go out socially. If i haven't got my Harv - haven't got anything.
Just in from the loo and into computer room - waiting on him chasing upstairs - alas no. Not a sign of him.

Does anybody think when you go on holiday it is just the
Same old, same old.
Was crossing town last week sister in the car and realised Belfast has it all - there are a million things I haven't done in my own country - so why pay big bucks to see a City Hall, fine dining, go to the zoo in ANOTHER country. Beats me. I need to take a reality check. So no holidays for me am going to see me own country

conne, that's a brilliant idea - most of us are very bad at being tourists on our own doorstep. I know people who live local to me who've never seen the sights and the history in this small town where I live. Sounds like a very good idea to me. Spend some time being a tourist - get the teeth done - then you never know, a dog wanting to me with you will come your way x
I knew what you meant Psybo - and I am going to do a tour of Belfast very soon - will be having a visitor next Sunday (hope I won't be under the weather) (sick) - but from now on I am going to the pubs, shows in GOH (Grand Opera House) loads of them, Fitzwilliam Hotel, Europa Hotel, loads of entertainment day and night - it is true I know Belfast has had its down days but now it has its up days. Oh and I must see Titanic (can't wait) JjCon - (am a bit hyper here - sorry!!!!)
Loadsa and loadsa to be seen and done. Come all and ye will get a welcome. Just bantering here!!!

It's a good point, conne. I think you said that the teeth work is imminent? Get that out of the way first - you are surely going to feel a bit duff after the dental work and the anaesthetic, you will need to look after yourself for a few days, not worry about acclimatising a new little dog as wel....
