You shouldn't buy puppies from pet shops - they have most likely come from puppy farms. Reputable breeders will care about the homes their puppies go to, they won't send them off to be sold willy nilly.

So in answer to the question, that puppy in the window could turn out to be a nightmare that will cost you more than you can imagine. A lady I used to work with had a dog she'd bought from a pet shop, and one day the dog flipped, attacked her and her 2 year old daughter and ended up being put to sleep.

Oh, Ok thanks for that. I've changed my mind anyway and have decided to get a baby chimp instead, they're very cute. I love the way they give human like hugs.

Get the dog as well, so that the chimp has something to play with. Also how about, a cat for them both to eat?

Superb idea, I was thinking though they'd have more fun playing with Guinea pigs or little fluffy rabbits, they're much cheaper too.

you could just catch the rabbits in the garden.

Oh, and make sure to starve the chimp and dog for a couple of days too. Should make things more interesting ;-)
