is kitty sick?

I am worried about my 5 month old cat. She has become lethargic, moans when picked up and she drools a lot. I don't know if its normal for a cat to drool, I know some dogs do but do cats? She has also started hiding for hours at a time. We searched our small house for 2 hours and still couldn't find her, she was eventually found in my sons room.

I am getting her spayed in 3 weeks time should I leave it and mention it to the vet then or contact the vet sooner?

this is highly unusual behaviour for a kitten, so I would advise your to take them to the vets ASAP. if she is moaning when you pick her up, it sounds as though she is in pain.

Don't wait until you get her spayed - I would get her to the vet asap. It might be nothing but with a kitten you can't take chances. Hope all is well
