New kitten!
Hi i have just got a new kitten as my 8 month old kitten lost its brother and was lonely. His nose seems to have been put out of joint with her and he keeps making growling type noises and hissing at her! Will he get better with time and is there anything i could do to make it better? Is this normal?

I have mother and daughter cats, they get on ok but the mum still growls and hisses at the daughter after 2 years but they never fight. Normally one of the cats has to be the boss and it will probably end up being the new kitten I reckon as she is female. I wouldn't worry about them, they will learn to tolerate each other I'm sure.
They may get friendlier as time goes on, but bear in mind that in their normal state cats are solitary creatures, 2 brothers together since birth is a different matter, I kept a mum and her son together for 16 years and mum hissed and spat at him whenever they were in the same room, again if you think that left to their own devices the kittens when old enough would go and look for their own territory and this is the reason cats often don't get on, they are very territorial even at this young age, he has established his territory, though he is and hopefully will be young enough to adapt.
Good luck.
