hello my name is stephanie and i am 13 years old, about 3 months ago i found out that my dog (tessa) has diabetes and i am very upset about that. She has just lost her hearing and eyesight aswell, she keeps bumping into walls and tripping over the carpets, she has also lost an extremely large ammount of weight. She is eating 3 meals a day of vegetables and pasta as the vet suggested but they have made no difference to what her normal food was doing. My family have decided to have her put down on saturday as she is now starting to suffer badly and i am distraught that she is going as she is the same age as me and i have grown up with her. Over the past few days i have been thinking how am i going to react and how am i going to feel? it has not yet hit me that she is going to be put to sleep on saturday and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if they have been in my position before? if so then please help me figure this out, thankyou x
