my cat and her kittens

my cat gave birth to kittens a week and 3 days ago and i was wondering if it would be ok to have another female cat around them? would another adult female cat hurt them?

i would say depends on the temperment of the cat. i had my two together from day one, but mum was protective and confident enough to keep the other in line. always, always supervise at the beginning and then you can take things from there. do not just leave them to it!

my cat had kittens 2 weeks ago,ive just introduced my other female cat back into the living room with her and she is not happy,she keeps attacking the mother and is hissing at the kittens,i will not leave them in the room on their own while she is like this so just watch them if you do introduce them back to each other for fighting
