Maine **** cat

We have a nine year old Maine **** neutered tom cat. Over the last few days we have had two strange cats sitting outside crying for him.Or when he goes out they sit and stare at each other.There hasn't been any aggression on either part but the other cats cry a lot. He doesn't seem that bothered but they seem to want to be with him.He can be aggressive with other tom cats so we think these two are queens.Does anyone know whats happening?

the only thing i can help you with is to say dont be afraid to describe your lovely cat as a 'Main ***' there is nothing racist with the name of the breed! Your problem with the other cats may just be a territorial thing.
