Poorly staffordshire bull terrier
1 Answers
Hi all,
Just need some advice please if thats okay.
My friend has a 2 year old male staffy. He is fully vaccinated and is in tact.
He hasn\'t eaten anything for a week now but is keeping water down, as my friend is giving him this every 2 hours via syringe.
She has tried him with every kind of food you can possibly think of, scrambled egg, fish, rice, chicken even baby milk and he just regurgates it straight away.
He is going to the toilet fine and his stools are firm not diahorrea.
We had him to the vet a couple of days ago and they said it was gastorenturitus. Would this still be giving him these symptoms after a week?
Obviously he is now giving my friend concern.
The one thing i have noticed is that his testicles seem swollen to me but as he is not my dog i\'m not sure if they are. Also whether this has any relevence.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Trudy
