I recognise both these things..... I went downstairs this morning to find a very dead large mouse, carefully reposited in one of their dinner bowls. Hint, or what?!
Cat 1 brought me a fine dead rat a few years back, and laid it proudly by the side of the bed - I was out of there like greased lightning, Tesco bag in hand and much hand-washing afterwards!
The worst thing they do is eat half a mouse in the night and usually leave the bum end, so I can step on it when I come downstairs - they merge well with our patterned hall carpet.
Now there's a thing, umm, I won't mention that mime in this house!!
(Mind you OH does most of the cooking when he's here so I won't complain.)
I am surrounded by sleepers at the moment, black one curled up in the window, OH and cat 1 still in bed, Rover is under the radiator - there's me been swimming, pruned the hydrangea, and waiting for my breakfast. Hmm, where's that mouse....?
River thinks he is a dog, he was a stray and I think he must have been brought up with them. He likes being patted really hard, and he wags his tail when he's happy. Now if Black One wag his rail (and especially if he puts the tip of his tongue out too) you know you're in for a BiG Scratch!
Same here except one of hours wants to play fetch constantly and is always trotting up with a ring in her mouth - only difference between her and a dog is that you have to throw it a particular way or she gives you a look and you have to fetch it
