Three foxes sitting in the garden looking at me like dogs, heads on one side, waiting for their peanut butter sandwiches. Or maybe jam. Mother, father, and last year's cub.

Have you a piccy smurf?
Awww yeah would love to see a piccy!! :o)
How lovely : )
Oh how wonderful. You wouldn't imagine they'd like peanut butter!

I have tried taking piccies, but I have to put the camera in zoom and the pics come out very fuzzy. Mum has one eye, Dad is nervous and baby is a show off. Very sweet. Sometimes Mum washes baby's ears and they lay down in the garden and go to sleep. Moggie puts up with them, although he wouldn't have another cat (or dog) around.

How adorable.

Oh they are definitely a couple, and mum often cleans baby in my garden. They often come for their dinner at the same time of day, just before dusk.

When I say 'baby' I am sure its not this year's baby, maybe last years.
My mum used to have several foxes come to her front lawn every night too waiting for whatever she put out. It got to the point that she actually bought pet food for them!

When I go out to feed them they all run behind various bushes, I dont think a film crew would get much film ! I tried taking piccies thru the glass door, without the flash. I dont want them to get too tame anyway.
Too bad you can't get a photo of them, smurf. Is fox-hunting still allowed over there?
No stewey, it's banned at the present, but we have a General Election next Thursday....
Question Author
Please dont start on that one ...
How lovely smurf - it says a lot that your cat doesn't feel threatened by them .
I certainly won't. smurfchops, it's a vile "pastime" and your foxes sound just delightful. We put that thought completely from our minds, enjoy your beasties, they seem to be enjoying your company too!
This lovely post has made me think of Gelda. A very special ABer who loved her foxes.
