Thanks, exactly what I thought but a few of my mates say differently...I think I'll phone the vet!!
there was a lady a few years ago who(allegedly) killed her budgie with passive smoking.

Vet says yeah, it can get into there fur too and make them scratch.....

Yes certainly, however, like humans the effects would "generally speaking" not be seen for quite a few years and possibly the pet would have died through age related illnesses.
Sorry, I envisaged a pair of rabbits where he was having a smoke after what rabbits do best. :-}
