Good deed of the Day.

What's yours? Mine was on the way home from work, I spotted a stray dog wondering at the side of the road, soooo....I stopped, parked up, looked for a tag on the dog, all I found was a tag that said 'LOVE', helpful! After careful consideration of the surrounding houses, I came to a conclusion that it must have come from the house with the bungee roped gate and the bloody great hole in the hedge, which as it happens, is the only house for a mile or so! :-/ Problem: there's another very excitable dog on the other side of the gate who was waiting for me to open the gate so he could make his move and run, so...I waited and thought very very hard about the situation, then bugger me, the dog from the other side ran up beside me and pounced on me! problem solved, i'll just open the gate and let them both back in without the worry of the excitable dog running off! They both run straight in to the garden and I follow, shutting the gate behind me (not that that's going to make a fat lotta difference when both the dogs clearly have their escape route planned anyway!) knocked on the door, and said to the woman who jumped when she answered the door (*sniggers*) "your dog was out on the road", she smiled, thanked me, and here I am carrying on with the rest of my evening with my mind at rest that the dog will be okay after all! :-) I hope you enjoyed reading this as much as I enjoyed writing it! lol. Evening all. :-)

She was vociderous that she didn't want any help but seemed very shaken and found it hard to raise herself, so I rang for an ambulance (falls being a risk area for the elderly). While I was talking to the operator the old lady told us all to clear off, she'd got too much to do to go for a check-up. The ambulance was stood down. I bet she's sore today.
I saw a woman struggling to load her car up at Wickes today so I offered to help, there was no way she was going to get everything in her car so I offered to put some of her stuff on my truck and follow her home
I did that and carried it through to her back garden, she offered me £20 but like a gentleman, I declined :o)
