cows in fields

i saw a herd of lovely huge cream coloured cows this morning, also a smaller herd of jerseys with young at foot, how wonderful to see cattle in the fields again, they have been empty since the foot and mouth outbreak, its begining to feel like real countryside again.

I went to the New Forest yesterday, it was smashing to see huge highland cattle roaming free with the ponies.

Yes, replaced all the plants,pots and table, paid for the time we took to clear it up and we got a new fence aswell. Still damn annoying though.

Yes, I like to see cattle but am thinking the time may come when they will be kept in nature reserves. On the package of a popular soya product (milk alternative) I was interested to read 'Soya protein products use 5 times less land and 10 times less water and generate less CO2 emissions than products made from animal protein. Makes you think!!
