I found a tiny little lizard in the garden today. As I was doing a lot of digging up where I found him I picked him up and moved him to another part of the garden. Now I feel really guilty that I might have seperated him from any little family he might have had with him. Do lizards come in groups and would they easily find their way back to each other?
You are just like me EvianBaby - I rescue insects from drowning in puddles, I'm a nervous wreck too if we have birds nesting in the garden with all the babies, I sit in the garden for hours to protect them from next door's horrid cat! I also hate standing on snails - I get rid of them from my plants but can't kill them, instead they go in my big brown recycling bin nestling on a leaf they like to eat! I try not to look when the bin lorry comes and tips them in and SQUASHES them (poor things at least they died happy!
I think little lizard will find his way back home - don't worry x
I remember trying to rescue a collar dove that was hit by a car, it was sat looking so forlorn with just a little trickle of blood coming out from the corner of its beak, it hopped tragically to get away from me.
Oh sh!t, I forgot I was walking the dogs and they hadnt yet been fed. :-(
