I woke up one Mothers Day from a doze on the sofa to two rather smug cats sat either side of a dead magpie in my lap! One (can't remember if the same one) I put in a carrier bag outside in the back so I didn't have to go out front to the bin in my dressing gown and it kept coming back in in the carrier bag like a bloody boomarang!!! Wheelie bin time!
I've had a live mouse and pidgeon which looked dead until I went to pick it up and it MOVED!
One has been coming back lately with bits of chicken and whole slices of ham in her chops! The other has a thing for tubigrips and turbitowels, carries them round in her mouth. I've had a few mad dashes to shut an open window where underwear goes on the move!

My old Tigger used to bring in frogs from the pond next door - my sister was living there at the time fortunately; he got an absolutely enormous one one day, and it screamed, which was awful! I had to rely on OH to remove them and put them back in the pond - there's no way I could ever pick up a frog.
We've lived at this house for over 7 years now, and sometime in 2004 I lost my glasses, and hunted high and low for them but never found them - lo and behold one day last year my clever dog Isla came trotting in from the garden carrying my glasses - they were very bent, but still intact. I've no idea which dog took them out there as Isla wasn't born when they disappeared! and the previous belgian shepherd wasn't a thief, so it must have been one of the labradors.
Our cats' crowning glory was when I came home from shopping and found a live magpie sitting in the ceiling light fitting, looking evilly down at me - I have no idea how they got it through the cat flap.
I locked the cats out and rang the RSPCA for advice, all they could say was "use stout gloves".... so I thought I'd unscrew the light fitting and slide the bird into the cat basket. No such luck - the light tilted and the bird flew to the top of the bookcase and promptly fell down the back of it.
Thankfully the RSPCA had also suggested turning out the lights and opening the front door so the bird could see outside - the prospect of dismantling the bookcase didn't appeal, but thankfully there was a gap underneath it and after a few minutes the magpie stalked out and made for the front door.
Meanwhile the cats were pounding on the catflap trying to get back in.... :0)

I know I have told this story on her before so I will keep it brief: whilst walking my Lurcher (Lass) one Christmas morning about 10 years ago, we were walking down the country lane where I lived, as we passed a gate to a large field I noticed a rabbit in the grass, I indicated to my Lass to go get it (its not poaching as long as I don't go in the field) so she popped over the gate, ran straight past the rabbit and disappeared, only to return 30 seconds later with a whole roast turkey in her mouth and still piping hot. We ran all the way home pretty promptly I can tell you.
I had a cat once that used to collect all the rubber bands the postman dropped on the pavement. They were red, and she would come in with them all hanging from her mouth and frighten me half to death until I realised what they were! She also once managed to catch a pipistrelle (?sp) bat.
The worst thing any of my cats ever brought home was used, disposable nappies! (The neighbour's teenage daughter used to change her baby and lob the nappies out of the upstairs window onto their drive, where they would remain until the next time she could be bothered to bin them, (unwrapped!) on her way out. All I can say is that my cats are tidier and more hygienic than she!
