HOW DO WE GET RID OF URBAN FOXES IN OUR GARDEN THEY SEEM TO COME IN AND MESS EVERYWHERE . WE HAVE TRIED TO BUY SCOOT FROM OUR LOCAL GARDEN CENTRE BUT NONE OF THEM SEEM TO STOCK IT WE PREFER NOT TO BUY ON LINE ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE HELPFUL
There is a compound called Renardine which we used to use years ago - don't know whether you can still get or the cheapest way is to use human urine to soak your fence at strategic points.
If that doesn't work there are people/companies that will trap and remove but that money.
Are you sure that foxes are making a mess in your garden and not domestic animals.? What sort of mess are they making.?
Foxes regularly come into my garden and, apart from their occasional droppings, don't cause any real problems. However, I live in a rural area and am thinking that perhaps urban foxes behave differently in their search for food.
If your local businesses don't sell something of interest then the Internet, or some other form of mail order, would seem to be the obvious alternative.
Why not ask at your local garden centre what they recommend instead ? And if nothing appeals bite the bullet and order over the Net.
I have seem ultrasonic scarers advertised, I have no idea how proficient they are.
Get rid of food sources, block off potential dens and the foxes will leave. If you destroy the ones that are there but leave food and shelter resource then more will move in.....simples
