...... is doing my head in.
Everytime they go out it barks, howls and whines and is doing my head in.
What can I do?
Currently it has been barking for 4 hours.
if its only when they go out, maybe they don't realise. perhaps mention it to them and say that the dog appears to get very distressed when they go out (making it appear that you're concerned about the dog, while still making sure they know its loud and disturbing your peace) x
Awful Craft. Makes life a misery. I phoned the environment people at the council when we had one. Chap came and listened and asked me to keep a diary of it`s barking. Like hell! If he wanted me to sit in the garden and take notes on a barking dog he had another thing coming. Phoned every day and also phoned the Mayor at home. Got it stopped in the end.
You can of course talk to the neighbours as many will advise. Doesn`t often do any good but you have my sympathy.
When I had neighbours whose dog did this I used to go and scream obscenities at it through the letterbox. Terrified it into silence and made me feel better too.
I have had a word with the neighbour who apologised and said they were trying to sort it out..............it's not even a proper dog (it's a Chinese Crested) but I am slightly worried I may go round and kill it.
One side of us leave their dogs out all day and they bark everytime someone goes past their house. The other side leave their dog out all weekend when they mysteriously bugger off all weekend and it sounds vicious (it's a big dog). I have five kids and the six week summer holidays are not far away - think I win this one!
I love dogs, cats, elephants etc (all non-human mammals are fine) but a small yappy, bald dog would drive me to do something, though illegal, that I may not regret.
Shoota is around and will hire out his gun - but hitting a tiny dog such as this might be hard.
It's probably freezing to death - knot it a jersey.
Our dogs are the ones barking here, i feel sorry for our neighbours but sometimes i cant take them with me. They have dogs themselves so are pretty understanding.
