Cover your car with lion dung ?
Or if you don't fancy getting that close to a lion, you could try dabbing some olbas oil or eucalyptus somewhere it won't damage your paintwork. They really don't like the strong smell
Sell the car and buy a dog.
Have you got a pressure wash? If so keep it coupled up and ready to go and every time you see the cat near your car wash it, the cat I mean.
Pressure washer a bit strong paddy, was going to suggest a water pistol lol.
You can try getting the car cleaned professionally to get rid of the cat smell or move the car to another parking spot for a while (week or so) and this might cause a break in its routine.

If you catch the cat in the act and you could try drenching it with water. My dog used to scratch his bum on cat bumpers and set car alarms off - that sort of thing would scare the brute senseless.

I have to warn you that I have two cats and they constantly take the pi55 out of me but, thankfully, neither spray. Strip wallpaper and destroy woodwork are their specialities.

Have fun - remember that the average cat is 1/20th of your size and not as intelligent. :-)
Although the pressure washer sound like a good idea I think that you might end up sending the little innocent pussy cat into orbit. ;-)
A pressure washer would kill a cat Paddy - a bit harsh....
I know but it does work. we live on a hill and between us and next door is a retaining wall about 10ft high the neighbors we had at the time had a huge ginger tom that use to tease Max confident it was that high hes was safe from both Max and I, which he was until the day I introduced him to Mr K'archer, after which he took the hint and went else where

Thanks for the ideas. I tried moving the car for a wee while, but it didn't stop. I think I'll have to give the olbas oil a try - I'm not a huge fan of cats and desperately want it to stop!
Betterware do a aerosol called "Pet Accident Sanitary Cleaner" it is very good.
you could try this, you just need a few household items.

The only thing I've found that completely gets rid of the smell is white vinegar. Clean your car and rinse it with a white vinegar solution.
One of my cats took to peeing in the corner of my lounge, and only white vinegar put a stop to it.
Then how do you rid of the smell of the vinegar?
Wolf 63 - "My dog used to scratch his bum on cat bumpers"
where do you get cat bumpers from?
Rosieapple, Send your neighbours the bill for cleaning your car and tell them you'll keep sending them 'till the cat is properly controlled.
I have had a problem with cats using my garden as a toilet and I found that having a gravel driveway was useful....I chuck a stone at them when I see them, they soon get the message!
Ahhhh. Poor pussy being stoned.
Does nobody put their car in the garage any more?
Poor pussy nothing...I hate the beggars, have to keep cleaning cat pooh off my lawnmower and the smell is awful. Dog owners can be fined for not cleaning up after their pets and I think cat owners should have equal responsibilities! If they are allowed to roam wild then I class them as ferral and they are fair game to be got rid of, and just don't get me started on gulls!
Did ou know there's a squirrel pis sing in our tent?
