hi, my BC had her first season in feb at just under a year old - when is she likely to have another

Yep...sounds like she's due then. A bitches cycle can vary as can a humans, anything from 6 to 9 months is normal.
If this is her next season and you are planning on speying her, go for three months after the end of this one...so much less mess....lol

In six months from February.
..so she'd be expected to have had it by end of August, but it should be due soon. Did you perhaps miss it? Not aware that BCs are a breed which doesn't have a six month cycle.

she has been behaving rather odly over the past few days, so i wondered if it was coming again now
It's really not an exact science and can vary from dog to dog but it is likely she may be coming back into season - lots of factors can affect it though so don't assume because she is behaving oddly it is because she is coming into season.
