Has the snorer tried sleeping with pillow slightly raised? i.e. double pillow?

I use these ones, my OH sounds like a foghorn!
You might see if these are available in the U.K. They worked wonders for a relative, who swears by them here in the U.S...

Here's a thread about earplugs that you may find useful.

Look at a health and safety site.

That's the advice from my OH who has to wear them for work.
Additionally, Mrs. C. (for all her other great qualities and personal beauty) used to snore ... She mentioned it to her dentist, who fitted her for a mouth piece.. end of story... hasn't snored since (over a year). It was a little costly... about $450 (US) but worth every penny. They last forever and dentist will refit it if it's required...
made to measure ear plugs work apparently but they are expensive.

Separate beds
I went through the entire range available before falling upon wax ones. Once they are warmed in the hand and moulded to fit your ear, they form a kind of seal, and prevent most noise. These allowi our eardrums to be aware of any alarm which may occur. I have also meditated frequently, my focus being why does it irritate me so much? Could it be that I was making the snoring an excuse for not being as 'close' as you once were, or there are other issues which can affect your own perception of what IS known to be a contributrary reason for devorce. Just saying......
Do you change the ear plugs every night RR? That's what I've been doing but I wasn't sure if that was right.
ahem... hope RR sees! :c)
No China, I do however give them a wash. I don't use them every night, only when I want a really good sleep and when I know he's been on the lash.
Thanks RR, they seem to be helping but I think they could become an expensive accessory! :c)
I must add though, when I have on occasion used them very frequently, I did get a build up of wax that needed drops. Well, I don't know if it was a build up, probably more compacted.
I just rinse them in the sink wit a bit of soap and let them dry. They'd be quite expensive using one pair a night, every night, yikes.
Ah. Well that might explain the ear pain I had last night too. Nuts. :-/
Just try using them when you need them, unless Snags snores all the time, in which case I recommend a pillow pressed firmly over his face for 10 minutes :0)
Lol! I will have to bear that in mind ;o)
What are the health and safety issues with ear plugs?
