How Do You 'blow' An Egg?

could not find suitable category for this so hope someone can help on here -we have a couple of hens that lay pale blue eggs and I would like to decorate them and keep them - so I need to get the insides out -my dad used to blow eggs -how do you do it without breaking the shells ?

When we were kids my dad used to do this. Take an egg, make a pin prick hole at both ends and blow through one hole. He had extremely good lungs!

Think you prick it with a needle top and bottom and let it drain..

Make two pin pricks one at the top and one at the bottom of the egg (the bottom one a little larger than the top one... Put your mouth around the smaller hole and blow fairly gently...It's Ok to keep increasing the size of the bottom hole if you need to.. Let us know if it works OK. xx

I used to love blowing and decorating eggs, nearly gave myself a brain haemorrhage doing it though.

My dad used to keep hens and I have often seen him make a hole in one end and suck out the contents from an egg laid just literally seconds old.....he loved 'em but I never could do it myself..Ugh!
