you're taking the dog jumping?
Question Author
yes - I am going to put a saddle on him and ride him!
My JR bitch took a couple of weeks until back to normal, no off the lead walking or jumping all over the place. I really missed my little Lu during that time. On the plus side, the stitches did not need removing as they had dissolved themselves, which probably saved a week or so recovery.
Just ignore her Helen, she's got her daft head on ;-)

Ignore the tattoo bit, dont think we in the UK do that, least they dont with cats.
In my experience they are usually up and about and running around the next day, X
It never seemed to bother any of mine. X
Doesn't need as much food after being done, either. Personality can change, you need to prepare yourself for that
A male dog being neutered is not that big an op, and doesn't seem to bother them.
A female being spayed is a much bigger op, and a longer recovery time
