Dog Picking Up Frogs

Hi my little jack Russell keeps picking up frogs in his mouth then starts spitting out foamy spittle for about 5 mins, he seems fine after, but I am worried about what harm they could do him. any one know if frogs can harm him?

The parotid glands in frogs exude toxins, which cause the foaming at the mouth you refer to. However, if your dog seems to make a quick recovery, there's probably absolutely nothing to worry about.
