Xbox 360 Question, Game Will Not Play. Help Please !!!

all other games are playing ok on my xbox 360. though i bought my daughter a hello kitty game, i put it on today for her and it wont play .

she is heart broken !!

it says on the screen...you need to attach xbox 360 hard drive to play original xbox games, for more info , visit www.xbox.com/games

but i have original xbox i bought brand new from currys, i bought this hello kitty game off ebay, it is original and not a copy.

advise please

Is the console a 360 or is it original?

What platform is the game for (will say in the case)?

xbox was bought for around £280 1 year 5 mths ago out of currys. i dont know if its original or what i havent a clue about xboxs. i take it there all the same ? as for game , it doesnt say what platform on box or manual, ive looked everywhere, it says on case ( xbox ) not xbox 360. maybe its an old game ? i jusdo not have one clue about games sorry.

I searched for the game and found out that it is an Xbox original game. (Xbox original and xbox 360 are different consoles). Since the price was £280 i'm going to assume that the console you bought was an Xbox 360. So the problem is that the game is not compatible with the Xbox. So you might have to buy an Xbox original. I agree with rocky. The message you are getting is because you are trying to play and original xbox game through a xbox 360 console. While some original games are capable of being played on a 360, you do need a xbox live account and an internet connection to be able to download the software patch that will enable it to be played. NOT ORIGINAL ALL GAMES CAN BE PLAYED ON A 360, so you might be better off getting the correct version for the 99p on tea bay
