Who do you want to win Best in Show ?
I hope it's the Staffy - would make a change and give this breed some much needed 'good' recognition.

Loving it! It actually makes me feel a bit emotional. I like cavaliers,springers and retrievers generally. But also the samoyed.

I haven't seen all the entries but from what I have that standard poodle has a good chance (wouldn't be my choice). Boxers are my favourite dog but they never ever are a group winner these days.

OK my favourites are James the Irish Wolfhound or the Rottweiler.

Crufts should be banned! It's caused more harm to dogs with all the inbreeding that goes on. Bulldog is one that comes to mind.

We used to have a standard Poodle, wonderful dog. Sad they have to be trimmed like that, but the cut was well explained. Ours only ever had a short back and sides!

My mom used to have a poodle, bloody thing used to bite everybody.

Ours too, bluetoffee. We rescued ours from being chained in someone's garage.

Mine had one too Tony. A toy apricot poodle. Went by the name of Flint.(don't ask!) Mother would cook liver for the dog but not for my father who loved liver. Dog would bite most people but her. My cat Trixie loved teasing the dog.

My mom's was a toy poodle as well, Daisy, a White one called Trixie. gawd, I hated that bloody mut.

Had a beautiful collie cross bitch when in South Africa. Unfortunately the vet advised against bringing her back to this country when we left.
