Inspissated might be my new best word. Its going to be cold here too, tortoises are not pleased. Touching wood dogs are much better so tomorrow we are probably going out for a drive. Freezer arrived as ordered and was unpacked by two very cheerful and polite blokes. AO are really good to deal with.

Cold and dreary out there.Pleased to hear the woofers are better.
Yes AO are brilliant Woofy.We got our new cooker from them and fridge freezer and dishwasher after the old ones went on the blink.
I suppose the next thing will be the washing machine but it's still hanging on ,touch wood.

Wish Mr N would hurry up and order me a new f/freezer. Been promising since Xmas!
Tourists have arrived, I'm still out in fur trimmed anorak and knee-high boots and they are in skimpy shorts and tee shirts! And I'm not warm!!
Have friends on lookout for syrup in their local tiendas (shops) I can't cope!!
Woofy you are very organised, not like a certain other biddy who gets locked out!!

Yes Neti,will do.I haven't forgotten you .There's still no release date as yet but from what I can glean from the web it'll probably be shown in be in the autumn.Netflix always email subscribers when anything new comes out anyway.
Brexit is a total dogs dinner for all concerned whichever way they swing.
I'm glad there's an extension though.It should give some breathing space and hopefully that bumptious little individual, Mark (Billy Bunter) Francois and others of his ilk will be given less air time.I sigh every time I hear him open his mouth.
I read John Crace's column in the Guardian every day for some light hearted relief from it all.He makes a complete mockery of the whole shebang and is hilariously funny.

I wish they would gwt it over and do e with then we would.know what we are dealing with. Poor Spain is closing it's applications for Residency, as they seem to think Brexit happened. We are I. Limbo. We are ok ourselves as we've been legal for centuries!!
But UK food importer has gone bust so no syrup!! I reallubreally can't cope.
Lovely sunny day here and I actually left my padded anorak at home as was not cold. I went.tp th3 Dutch supermarket in thehopes they had syrup (ha!) But bought 2 delicious sausage rolls, one already eaten, a very big bag of liquorice all sorts ( called English sweets) and some yummy looking bokkenpootjes. No idea but look tasty. Only 8€ the lot

Oh deep joy, Mr N has unearthed 2 golden syrup in an out of town supermarket!! I am a happy bunny, but so tired, I think my thyroid is out of whack again. Back to Mexico on Tuesday!!
Jus made a chicken, pot and peanut Thai curry pad Thai noodles and rice.

That's nice for you Neti .You'll have to fill it up now ! Is it one of those swish American style ones ? I would love one but don't have the space although we do have a small chest freezer.

hello all quiet times here. Shughy is getting better slowly but he is getting better again. Its brexit weird here too, some post offices have started requiring customs forms for stuff sent from the Uk to the rest of Europe. I am boil washing one set of the towels used to line the tortoise room. They are lovely animals but they carry bugs that can upset humans and dogs so I have to be careful while they are indoors.

No it's not an American one. Just one up one down but aluminium. Lately I've been saving little pits of food which I would normally throw out, but this way the fridge is overcrowded, and he can't bear it!! It worked!!!
Gosh woofy I didn't know that about tortoises! Lots of hard work but good for shugy getting better.
Shaney those goats feet don't last!! Even Mr N liked them so all gone. Will buy more on Monday.

I've just treated myself although it's not really a treat more a necessity.I've bitten the bullet and bought myself one of those wheelie walkers.I had to hunt round for one for taller people though.It's got a seat so I can sit in the middle of the supermarket and annoy people :)
I really really didn't want this but if I don't do something I'll be stuck here until I disappear into the wallpaper.
I've realised vanity is bad for my sanity!
