Good Carpet Cleaner
8 Answers
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good one?
I have a rug that could do with a bit of a general spruce up, no specific stains or anything like that.
It's fairly large so would be tricky to take to a dry cleaners and I don't drive so getting (and using) anything like those Rug Doctors would be tricky and much more costly.
I'm toying with the idea of treating myself to having someone to come in and do a carpet clean to spruce them up a bit but waiting for some kind of offer.
I don't have any kind of carpet cleaning machine so it'd be a sit down and rub in then vacuum off when dry kinda jobby I'd need.
Thanks for any help :)

(Rug doctors are great, but a lot of work - they are very heavy and noisy and to be honest, the 1001 does a better job)
