seriously tho, where did you hear this dave? I always thought a banana was a fruit and I'm guessing I'm not alone on this one.

the banana plant, though it is called a 'banana-tree' in popular usage, is technically regarded as a herbaceous plant (or 'herb'), not a tree, because the stem does not contain true woody tissue.

HELLLOOOOO Its a banana. You find them in the fruit section of supermarkets. You dont go into your back graden pick a few sprigs of mint, rosemarry and BANANA. Its a fruit!
