For those who asked to know how my claim went, due to the lightening
strike that zapped my 42'' TV, desktop computer, router and telephone 3 weeks ago.

The Ins Company were brilliant, they gave me £400 to buy a TV, £75 for the router, and £533 for a computer, without having to show any recipients.

If the monitor doesn't work when I have bought the computer, they said to let them know, and they will send a cheque to buy a new one.

I was surprised that it went so smoothly, and not having to show any old receipts when purchased, or any for the new TV etc.

The phone line was repaired free by BT, the computer was about 4 yrs old and the TV about 2/1/2 yrs, so I think I got a good deal.

Well done, trt.
Pray tell who the company is trt. It's nice to hear a good feedback for a company .
Good to hear, how many of us could produce receipts for things they have had for a few years? I know I couldn't.

It was the Post Office Jeza who I paid too for my policy, but then Sun Alliance dealt with the claim.
Thanks trt, I'll remember that when my renewal is due.
Good feedback about these things is great, well done.

My access was £150 anneasquith, but when I think I got a new comp, TV, router and maybe a monitor, I think it was well worth it.

My old TV was only £320, my comp about £300.
