I have worked with horses for many years (without owning one) and each time you leave a yard, or the horses are sold it is heart breaking, especially if they are your favourite.
It would be best to move on and find a yard closer to home. Your local saddlery may have some recommendations of where you can find work. Maybe finding a show/show jumping yard closeby would be better as you will get more experience and earn some money at the same time.
