Can I plant hyacinth bulbs in the garden after they have finished flowering indoors and will they grow again in future years outside

If you are going to wait to plant them when they have died down, then feed with a foliage feed from when they finish flowering until the leaves die down. The compost commercially grown bulbs are sold in has no food in it at all.
Better to plant as soon as the flowers are over. Plant deeply, even if that means covering the bottom half of the leaves and feed.
