The dog story reminds me of many years back when I was a youth. Walking home from work in the evening I reached a pedestrian crossing and found a traffic problem due to an injured dog. Clearly it had run out and been hit, and was bleeding badly. No car was stopping. just driving around it. Unsurprising I suppose. I'm unsure how I did it but managed to move it to the...

Some folk have defective conscience, can't see an issue with doing anything they decide on. It's a pity the rest of us have to share a world with them.
Appalling, but sadly there are people amongst us who think there is nothing wrong with this kind of cruelty and will never stop. Depressing.
It's quite sickening to imagine some have this mindset.
It shows how robust kittens are that any survived.

Have you seen This sad story? http://www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/14755853.Rottweiler_with_broken_back_dumped_on_road/
My thoughts too Oldgeezer. To think we are sharing the same air.....Upsetting to read such stories. So pleased some were saved and re-homed.
Mindless!!
I hope the wicked person/s get named and shamed.

I hadn't seen that story Wolf, how very sad for that to happen to a defenceless animal.
I'm unsure how I did it but managed to move it to the centre island, but could not really help it more. Found a house nearby that allowed me to use their phone to call somewhere, unsure where. Too long ago. Maybe the RSPCA or maybe the police; can't think for the life of me. Anyway was asked daft questions like, did the dog jump up and run away (!) and I explained it was hurt and unlikely to survive. I lay there where put seemingly unconcerned. The authorities seemed in no hurry to come and see if they could save it. Was rather upsetting at the time.
I wish I hadn't read that wolf.
Unfortunately, we are not allowed to do the same thing to these poor excuses for humans. How sick.
I am not a great fan of cats because of what they do in my garden, but I could never even think about being cruel to them.
If people treat animals in such a way it makes me wonder how they treat their offspring.
How sad euthanasia isn't legal in this country.........then we could iradicate proven cruel people like those responsible for this sort of behaviour.
