To all the dog walkers who haven't got any morals or sense. When your dog "does one" please bag it and either put it in the proper bin for disposal or take it home with you. Whats the point of bagging your dogs mess then throwing it to one side, not even the flies and rain can't remove it now because you've tied it up in a little black bag.

When I lived in a country village, dog walkers used to the circuit around the village and then dump their dog's waste in next door's dustbin. Disgusting.

I am a dog owner and I completely agree.
So am I, also totally agree.
I collect any deposits on the way back from our walk - much nicer job when deposit is cool, frankly. Sometimes people look at me and if I have a chance, I explain. The bag then goes in the bin.

Perhaps the bags you see have been forgotten? I agree that if it has not been collected, then the problem is worse. Left out for a few days the poo r epsould soon become inert and non-harmful.
Even worse are those effing numpties who hang it from a tree or bush....
What goes through their tinies?
Best throw it into a tree. The highest get the walk 'record'.
Jourdain, I know a dog-walker who would disagree with you - she claims picking it up straight away keeps her hands warm in the winter.

Some might claim that they will pick the bag up on their way back.
Trouble is, Some have conveniently short memories.

More of "the proper bins" might help.
Jourdain do you mean you leave it unbagged until you come back? If so surely someone could have inadvertently trodden in it by then?
