I've given up on shutting my cats out of the bedroom at night. They scratch the door and pull up the carpet with great determination and noise.

Touch wood...mine have never done that. The deaf one just meows plaintively ...then gives up.

Tom cat outdoors with access to stables (good ratter) and queen with 3 kits in cardboard box in spare bedroom. Horses and chooks in my bed.....like hell ;)

The 'boys' ...2 Westies and the cat sleep with me, all very peacefully.

Holly ( curly coat) sleeps with OH ....and they both snore so they're welcome to each other !

Thats the beauty of having a lot of dogs, the alpha male normally sleeps where he wants (starts at the foot of the bed, but usually gets on it later), but he ensures the other dogs don't even try to encroach!

My lovely little dog Jill sleeps in the front room, usually on the couch although she has lovely soft blankets on the carpet! Oh and Talbot happy to be 'weird, eccentric, bonkers' ..... !
