What Do I Do If I Get This Job?

Hello.
I'm very worried as I found a small lump a couple of weeks ago, about the size of a pea, on my dogs front leg. He also has a small lump on his lower lip. This one I didn't know about until I came home from work to find him bleeding and discovered the cause. I rang my vets straight away and got some advice and made an app to see them first thing in the morning (yesterday). They looked him over and don't know what the problem is, so have given him cream for his sore lip and he has an app to go back next week for tests where they will take some cells from each lump. Has anyone had a lumpy dog and what was the outcome? Neither lump bothers my dog in the slightest but I'm worried for obvious reasons as it could be serious.

However, he did say that in some cases, it can be cancerous, and if so, there are several alternatives for treatment. In the case of our lumpy dog, the vet is taking no action. He just checks the dog at each visit.
I hope for the best for Jake!
