I thought this was a thread about the 1970s sit-com.
There was bound to be one ;-)
Soz.
How wonderful, you will be able to watch them hatch and fledge. A real privilege. I've got bluetits nesting in a nest box at my back door, love all birds.
Me too x
That's lovely too, we had them nest in the ventilation shaft from the bathroom fan - it's directly overhead in the bedroom.

As it's metal lined the noise was not always welcome.
That is wonderful - I'm so jealous. I've got bluetits in the box right at the side of my patio door - they were here last year, but never had robins.
I'd love to see a little baby robin, never seen one.
Neither had I till now.

What lovely coloured eggs too !

Great to be so trusted.
House full of red breasts - reminds me of when I was young....

Buy 1/2 pint of maggots from the fishing shop, keep them in the frig and give a few every now and then.

Havent been near the nest as I dont want to disturb her. I thought she may have gone but she seems not to have moved off the nest. Do they starve while brooding ?
Doesn't the male feed her?
Question Author
