Are poopa scoopers becoming a danger to public health. I saw a guy the other day use a doggy bag to clear up his dog mess using a doggy bag, after doing so walked into a shop to buy whatever. Didn't see any use of hand gel.
I use toilet paper as correctly as anyone, but my hand still contacts the toilet paper.
(And for most brands, which open up a gap at the first detection of mess, it often comes in contact with more than the paper. I'm surprised it's legal for most brands to claim that their product is fit be used as toilet paper.)
Not a wind up, just think its common sense to wash hands after picking up dog mess. How does one cope if the dog as diarrhoea, and I'm sure dogs do from time to time.
Don't anyone see my valid point, a guy picks up dog mess with a bag, and then walks into a shop to handle goods without cleansing his hands. If you think this is not required, and it seems many do, then that's like saying its ok for human to use the toilet, and not wash their hands because they used toilet paper.
Toilet paper is made of paper which is absorbent and can tear. Doggy bags are made of biodegradable plastic/microfibres and generally are not absorbent/porous when used and don't normally tear
Not everyone is using proper doggy bags, and even if so, there's still every chance of soiling your hands, plus there's always manufacturing faults, as with condoms.
Well, provided the plastic bag does not have little holes in it, I cannot see that it matters a jot. Just tie a knot in it (so the contents cannot escape).
I don’t own a dog, but have looked after a few. I never thought of taking hand gel out with me as well as the poo bags. I still won’t next time I take a dog out.
