Are poopa scoopers becoming a danger to public health. I saw a guy the other day use a doggy bag to clear up his dog mess using a doggy bag, after doing so walked into a shop to buy whatever. Didn't see any use of hand gel.

Using a bag correctly, you shouldn't come into contact with any mess - however if I had a dog I would take hand gel with me.
I don't use hand gel because I don't touch the poop! So, we're a 'danger to public health' if we don't clean up and now, it seems that in your brain, we are becoming a 'danger to public health' if we DO clean up - can't win !!!

Well you could say there's no contact with toilet paper used correctly. But but but.

Sorry hereIam, but yes!!
No more of a danger to public health than people who don't wash their hands after using the toilet.
I could have said that, but I didn't - I don't have my hand inside a bag when wiping my rear end.

Tilly2. I refer to Poopa scoopers, not general public.
I just took a small bottle of hand gel out to my dog on the lawn.

She didn't wantto know ...
Teacake, your question is about danger to public health. Not washing hands after using the loo is a danger to public health.
Well sorry teacake but I STILL won't be using hand gel and my conscience is clear.
I once expressed a sense of squeamishness to a dog owner about the process of picking up dog poo from within a bag, and she replied, "It keeps my hands warm in Winter" :-D
It does, Canary. Lovely and warm and squidgy.
LOL

Some touchy dog owners out there.
For Heaven’s Sake. At no point does the skin of your hand come into contact with the, Poo. Are you saying that just because these bags stop contact with what it’s meant to, we should stop using them because miraculously, what is inside them might creep out and soil your hands?

Rowlocks.
Teacake you posted this as a wind up. I, for one, am not wound up. I shall continue to use my doggie bags and then call into Sainsburys for a pint of milk.
I'm saving the planet by buying biodegradable doggie bags. I'm doing my bit.
Amazon has a poop scoop that a biodegradable bag fits over. Small or large holder and bags. Hands do not touch the bag. No need for hand gel

Use the bag correctly and you don't need hand gel either.
