tiger or lion?

I thought this sort of question was usually between superman and captain america. But anyway in a straight 1 to 1 it would have to be the tiger, 'cause they are solitary animals and used to hunting alone whereas lions normally hunt in pack of 4 to 8

Good question. My money would be on the tiger as the Siberian version is a particularly nasty. Tigers are generally bigger than lions who are lazy gits lying around in the sun all day!

Siberian tigers are not particularly agressive - they are the biggest cat but always far less agressive than a Bengal Tiger or a Male lion.

Male lions are built to fight and Male Tigers are built to hunt.

I would say the Tiger, particulary the Siberian, Tigers are the most beautiful, and magnificent of the big cats, they are the most feared predator, and the most powerful, they are also the most revered wild Animal in the world, their strengh supercedes that of Lions, Lions lay about all day, and leave Lionesses to hunt for food, so the Lion could not possibly have built up enough stamina to take on a Tiger.

Tigers looks like a bigger animals as compared to Lions as they have more length and weight tiger may have won due to their weight but tigers have a very little experience of fight as compared to Lions and Lions have some other advantages, such as height and mane protection they are quite capable of beating a tiger of same size or even little havier in wait. I will cast my vote for Lion success in the fight.
