I would think the Tiger, whereas the Lion is more powerful, the Tiger is fiecer and meaner.

I'll go for the Tiger too. Although it is bigger than the lion, a tiger is amazingly quick.

I don't see why everyone thinks a lion is slow. Just because they amble about? Have you not seen any film of one after a zebra, when the lion finally decides 'well, I'm just going to HAVE to run now'?

If we are talking about Lions (as opposed to lionesses) they do not hunt. The hunting is done by the lioness usually. The males job is generally to laze about and fight off other males and wait for the wife to bring food. All tigers hunt for themselves so may be a little stronger or have more stamina.

I used to work in a zoo, and whenever any of us gave a guided tour, some horrible little kid would always ask this question. We used to hate it.

They would never have a fight, because they are from different countries, and so would never meet.

Checking it, I see you are right. I always thought teh lion was bigger.

However, I stick by the outcome I championed, and I also offer this as supporting evidence. 2-1 to me, I think.

A while ago i saw a video of a lion fighting a tiger. they were the same size and at the start the tiger looked like it was getting the upper hand but then the lion kicked its a*s

no definitive answer it appears but the lion is king of the jungle , so im with lion

As the Lion & Tiger come from different countries, it would be hard to say.

Although events such as this would be few & far between, I'd say the Tiger - but then again I'm a Leo, so would say the the Lion would also put up a pretty good fight! ;o}
