So There's A 'blip' In The Gulf Stream ?

It's dipped lower than normal causing this rain and in many cases flooding, we've got the Athletics on from Poland and it looks lovely and warm there, so are they unaffected by this 'ere Gulf Stream ?

We have a temperate Maritime climate, because we are a small island and the sea affects our weather. Poland has a Continental climate (very hot summers, very cold winters) because it in Central Europe and unaffected by the sea.
