I can't get over how big he is. Sally was a petite lady...He's a gentle giant.

I had a "moment" a little while ago, where I hoped Sally approves.
Bonny lad, he looks bright as a button.
Good luck Pasta and Zacs - you both know the value of a doggy family member.

I hope that you are adopted soon Zacs, they are great companions.
A fine handsome big boy , .
He won't be house-trained will he pasta?
Question Author
He piddled right by the front door about 5 minutes after he came in. Stress I'd say, as he was a bit brighter after going. Later he went to the door, so I'd say he knows what to do.
Fantastic.
Best wishes. X
Regarding change of name - I changed the names of both my rescue dogs. In fact one of them has had 3 names that I know of.
Oh, so pleased for both you and doggie
That's good pasta, it will be a blessing if he sleeps through the night without toileting on your floor. Is he on your bed yet LOL?

He is lovely.
Reminds me of one I had 10 years ago. She was great. A thief though so beware. It's in the breed apparently!
Frozen piece of smoked haddock left to thaw in kitchen - all that was left was some ice on the floor. Similar with cakes and just crumbs left.
They are lovely, gentle dogs.
I just have 2 cats now as live alone and disabled.
Enjoy him.

Thank you gilli.
He slept the night in my room. I put a folded duvet on the floor, and before I got a chance to
put a throw on it...he was on it. I heard him rearranging his bedding a few times over night. I was able to make a loo trip and back to bed at 7am without him thinking "walkie"!
He noticed both a cat and a few squirrels on our very short walk...and did nothing.
Awww. He sounds ace, pasta. We tried to contact Leeds rescue yesterday but without success. Been looking at some border collie pups for sale which are, surprisingly, just round the corner. Still not sure if it’s too soon after Zac.

I sometimes think the right one will come along when its right for you.
I didn't expect to fill the empty dog bed so quickly, yet it seemed right. He is lying on the floor, about a foot away from my feet as I type this.
